Accepted into a college but did not add/register for any courses?

If you apply and get accepted into a college but dont add or register for classes... do they automatically delete you out of the system and then have to reapply again? Im asking because I want to transfer from a community college into a State University but need academic advise for a program I want to apply for. However, an advisor will not talk to you unless you are a student. So I am just applying so that I can talk to the advisor of the program to make sure that I am taking the correct courses in my community college as pre requisites to get into their program at the University.
